But it’s not your fault! Mopping leaves chemical residue on tile floors and it naturally gets absorbed and trapped in grout lines. Causing them to darken and get dirtier faster over time.

Zerorez cleans floor and wall tile and grout without the use of dangerous chemicals that can leave harmful residue. Our process includes scrubbing tile and grout with our Zr Lifter™. This step allows us to clean the floor with lower pressure than other tile cleaners — minimizing any chance of damaging loose or weak grout.

Should You Seal Tile and Grout?
YES! You should definitely seal any porous surfaces after cleaning, to keep accidental spills from absorbing into grout lines or stone.
If you have a standard tile floor, then you will only need to seal the grout. Tile floors are made of ceramic or porcelain that come from the factory with a glaze on the surface. This glaze is non-porous and those surfaces will not need to be sealed. Watch out for cleaners who try and sell you tile sealer — it’s not needed.
If you have a stone floor (travertine, limestone, slate, marble or granite, etc), the entire floor will need to be sealed after the cleaning process to avoid discolorations and staining. The stone and grout are sealed together in the same process. If a stone floor stains, it is very difficult to remove the staining. Many customers have skipped this step only to be disappointed later when the staining could not be removed.
Using the correct sealer is very important. Zerorez uses a penetrating sealer specifically designed to absorb into the pores and molecularly bond with grout and stone.
Zerorez Sealer blocks both oil and water based spills and has a very high solids count (the difference between cheap sealers and high quality, long lasting sealers).
